Anne Mayer

About

Hello! I have robust experience supporting the success of leaders, high-potential talent, and teams, as well as assisting individuals as they navigate transitions. My diverse experience spans industry, higher education, and healthcare, including Fortune 100, public, private, and global organizations. I am recognized by the International Coaching Federation as a Certified Professional Coach (PCC) and hold additional accreditations as a Board Certified Coach, Executive Coach, and Career Coach. Twice honored as a “Top Coach in Orlando,” I easily build rapport and become a trusted advocate for my clients, who consistently commend my energy, passion, warmth, humor, and authenticity.

I named my practice “Box Not Required” to reflect my versatile career journey where, depending on the organizational culture, I have encountered a spectrum of perceptions, ranging from too much to not enough — too direct to not direct enough, too assertive to not assertive enough, too cautious to not cautious enough, and the list goes on. These experiences have honed my ability to find success within established boundaries while authentically challenging predefined norms.

Inspired by trailblazers who have challenged conventions and broken barriers, I’m deeply committed to empowering individuals and teams to navigate the intricacies of professional landscapes and craft their own strategies to propel their success. And, in parallel with my own evolution, I’ve increasingly found fulfillment in guiding clients toward their ‘what’s next’ – whether it’s a career pivot, defining their encore chapter, or envisioning a fulfilling post-career life.

Acknowledging that trust and respect are crucial cornerstones in fostering impactful client engagement, I establish a safe and accepting environment to foster open communication, inspire profound self-reflection, question assumptions, and explore possibilities. Valuing flexibility, I customize my methods to align with each client’s unique goals while occasionally introducing assessments and frameworks to aid in achieving maximum insight and growth. Furthermore, I empower clients to devise practical strategies and implement accountability measures to support sustained change. And, with a passion for inclusivity, and belonging, I celebrate the richness of diverse backgrounds and viewpoints, enhancing the coaching journey for all involved.
